Way cool! Great capture with the bird flying right at you. Those opportunities are rare and you appeared to nail him (her). Are you changing your name to BillSony!

Not yet. Not yet. But each week brings me closer to Sony than Nikon. Time will tell.

Be very careful and consider everything. I would love to combine Canon, Sony, and Nikon into one camera.
Each have advantages and disadvantages.
From my personal experience, mirrorless camera's cannot focus as fast as mirrored camera's. I like my focusing system on my Nikon D500, D850, and D5.
I do not believe my Sony a9 or a7r4 focusing systems are quite as good as those on my Nikon's. But it it close. I am anxious to see real world results from the new Canon R5 and Sony a1.
So, unless you have money to burn, if your getting acceptable results from you Nikon system, hold on to it for another two years. Mirrorless camera's are evolving fast.
I would caution you to move slowly. I am in a unique position to have my foot in the mirrorless door while maintaining my Nikon system.
Only time will tell.
