Didn't know of him Mark, but it's a tragedy to lose
a great athlete.
You guys have my sympathy.

My impression of Hank Aaron, from memory: He was a natural and good for baseball.

3 of my favorite baseball seasons, 1955, 1957, and 1960. Fans know what they have in common. Thanks for sharing, Mark. Aaron was a gentle giant on and off the field.

I can't imagine anyone better in baseball or as a person.

Check out the film "42" with Chadwick Boseman as Aaron and Harrison Ford as Branch Rickey.

Sad day in Mudville, Aaron has go to diamond green field of immortal.
I lived in Louisville for a lot of years, but we never had a major league team. So, off to Cincinnati to catch the Reds. Got to see Hank Aaron several times, and saw him hit a few out. I was always awe-struck about his wrists. They had to be the quickest ever. Of course, he also had superior eyesight and reflexes. While folks have always admired his hitting, he was also a cracker jack outfielder. Had reflexes like the proverbial cat.
He will always be the number one home run hitter in baseball, all time. He earned is mark in an era when you had to rely on training and talent, not injections. Sosa, Magwire, and Bonds are merely poseurs.
RIP, Hammerin' Hank.
I could but I now use Chrome with satisfaction.
