A repost from a year or so back. I don’t have a studio so in the Spring, Summer and Fall I work outdoors and on location. In the winter I setup my portable lighting outfit in my family room. It’s small but I can still get some good photos.
This set-up gives great results! Great captures of a lovely subject. Quite the smile! Please stay safe and keep on sharing.
Very nicely done Wayne - beautiful images! Thanks for including the lighting diagram.
Masterful use of available space Wayne... Superb wardrobe styling, neutral gray is a perfect choice for this gorgeous talent's rich golden skin tones... Epic makeup artistry... Perfectly shaped brows... Mauve eye shadow and pearlescent brow bone highlighter are a stellar touch... Loving her sparkling ear decor... Excellent attention to detail Wayne...
Delightful mix of pose dynamics in this series... The illumination ratio in the final image is wonderful...
The only suggestion would be to a tweak to the illumination ratio of the first four renderings... Possibly lower the intensity of the gridded background light in as it competes with this talent's beautiful face... Combine this with a subtle boost to your key light... A viewer's eye is always drawn to the brightest area first... consider making her face equal or just a tad brighter than the rest of the frame...
btw, her radiant smile is so precious... she's a natural on set...
Many thanks for sharing your artistry (and illumination diagram) it is truly appreciated...
All the best on your fabulous journey Wayne...
Again please stay safe...

Beautiful pictures. My pet peeve about false eyelashes is you know they are false. Hers are way to long. To me...just me, it takes away from the picture or the person wearing them. Why go to the extreme.
