Thanks for sharing these. I have not been to Asbury Park in 12 years. Is the old convention hall still a wreck? And did the Stone Pony survive the Covid winter?

The Stone Pony is somehow surviving. I didn't walk into convention hall but I assume that its still in operation once we get by covid.
I read an article in the Atlantic City Press years ago about a guy who went to the beach every day of the year despite any weather conditions. Now that is a hearty soul!

Nice set of images. I graduated Asbury Park HS in 54'. Great town!! Lived in Bradley Beach until I was drafted into US
Army in 58'.

My parents rented a bungalow every season in Bradley Beach in the early to late 60's. Thats still my go to beach. BTW, we stayed on Cliff Ave. and always walked through Ocean Grove, chains up on Sunday, to Asbury Park for rides and games. Thanks for the view!
