Merlin1300Loc: New England, But Now & Forever SoTX
I build my own computers (so fugeddibout crapple), and I own Adobe CS6. I'll Never pay for subscription software https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-496767-1.html I back-up my production computer to my 12 TB QNAP RAID-5 NAS, which backs up every Sunday to an external RAID-5 USB-3 box of drives. I don't have off-site storage - so if the house burns down, Sux to be me. Otherwise I feel fine.
As long as "YOU" are satisfied....! Very good...indeed !!!!!!!!
Thanks, Boone
Boone, What is it you are asking? Put data files you want to keep (photos or not) on an external and don't clutter your internal with unnecessary stuff. If you care about backup (and it is not clear from your post that you care about that at all) backup the external to another drive. OnOne is non-destructive, so you are good. You seem to be making this more complicated than it is. Keep it simple.
