This photo of my parents fell off the wall and was damaged. They are both gone now. Can anybody fix this so I can reprint or tell me how to do it?
Thanks!

I used Affinity Photo to repair the major damage. (Affinity Photo is on sale I hear for just $24, so that's great deal)

Others can do way better than I, for sure, but if you wish to do it your self, I used the pen tool to make selections, the clone brush and the patch tool for repairs. The color issues I only touched upon with white balance, curves and HSL adjustment layers. I'm not very good at making color adjustments though, and usually, the more I work on something, the worse it gets. I wasn't sure you even wanted color adjustments made on an old photo. Often people work a bit at getting that old photo look. Anyhow, I'm sure others will do better, but until then here's a start.

A different crop. Cleaned it up. Other UHH's can do better.

Marg, may I add a suggestion?
Likely you will have the "fixed" photo printed to frame it and hang it back on the wall where the damaged one was. Why not have two or even three copies printed at the same time?
Frame one, put the other one(s) in a safe place.
Also, save the image file where you can find it back easily. Depending on the medium used, you may have to copy it to new medium every couple of years.
