These photos are from Racine, WI home to SC Johnson Wax and many Frank Lloyd Wright buildings. Wright had a connection to H F Johnson and Johnson contracted Wright to design his main company campus and his personal home. The first photo is of the Golden Rondell which was Johnson's entry into the 1964 World's Fair. After the fair had ended the Rondell was disassembled and reconstructed in Racine. It sits on the outside of the main campus. The research tower can be seen in the background. The second photo is of Forteleza Hall which houses the plane that H F Johnson explored the jungles of South America in when looking for sources of wax. The third photo is of one of Wright's designed homes on the shore of Lake Michigan. The fourth photo is of the research tower which has been closed down for a long time for safety reasons. The people working on the top floors could not get out quick enough in the case of a fire. The fifth photo is of The Council House, the Johnson international conference center. It was not designed by Wright but was built to look like it was. The last photo is of Wingspread, the personal home of H F Johnson designed by Wright.
