Thanks, Joe. We’ve been to Washington State, but not Iceland.

You are welcome Ellen, I would recommend to keep Iceland on your bucket-list, it really is quite a wonderful, if rather expensive country, very much in line with the Scandinavian experience. Good to hear that you have visited Washington, but probably not our little neck of the woods up here in the extreme north-west, bordering on Canada. It is a good little area, with the mountains, islands and access to the sea, even though the last few weeks haven't been kind on us: highest rate of Covid in WA state and practically no vaccination available - but hopefully things are pointing upward - the Covid rate is declining and with some luck the vaccination availability is getting better. Take care - Joe

You're right. We've been to Anacortes and Whidbey Island but not quite to your neck of the woods, also Vancouver, B.C.
Iceland was in the planning stages but we haven't made it yet.

Anacortes and Whidbey Island are actually very close, would say belong to the "neck of our woods" - the #6 picture of Heart Lake in this set is actually in the municipality of Anacortes. I also did quite a bit of preparatory shooting for this calendar on Whidbey island but at the end decided to just have images from Whatcom and Skagit counties in the calendar. Most people, when they visit western WA, normally head for Seattle and Mount Rainier, as well as the Olympic peninsula, but it is great to see that you really have been very close to our area. Take care - Joe
