There are some really good groups on FB.
Join. You don't have to put your picture on it if you don't want.
Don't even have to friend anybody.
Well maybe a few close friends or pertinent group you might like.
I like some photography, diecast cars 'EXOTO', model builders. Some modelers are fantastic.
Your not required to put anything about your you don't want to. Including.... nothing.
There are some great videos there. Watching those PORSCHE 917's are great.
If you have a particular illness like I do, there are some good groups there too.
It's really not a scary place.
And I don't like to guy who owns it with that smiley face you want to smack. :-)

Yep, there are really a lot of good areas on FB irregardless of who runs it or the politics... I personally belong to over 20 Special interest groups including specialized groups of the different brands I support. Lots of neat Audio groups as well. Market research folks already know all about you anyway... It is a nice way to keep in touch with family and friends... Just bypass the General feed and concentrate on your interests.

Visit a few standard web sites even though some have become so click'ish and nasty.
