These are Amur (formerly called Siberian) tiger brothers at the Tiger Forest habitat at the Detroit Zoo. I posted five photos of them rough housing about a year ago. I have 15-20 shots of them at the time and these are five different ones than the previous post. The situation was so unique that they are among my favorite zoo shots. The zoo was nearly empty of visitors, the snow squall lasted only 5-10 minutes, and the rough-housing for only 10 seconds. The only ones to see it were the lady that cleans the restrooms and myself, and we were in the right place at the right time. Best if downloaded. Thanks for viewing.

Those are great action shots, John--some of the best I’ve seen lately.
Terrific series, you certainly don’t see this very often. Timing is everything. Thanks for sharing 😄

Great Tiger sequence. I like #2 the best.
Wow! Outstanding, John. The colors against both the white and black background are extraordinary!
Spectacular shots John - I love the colors of these beautiful creatures and the combination of these colors with the black & white ambience is very exciting - great photo job!

Formidable beauty😲 and stunning shots
Wouldn't want to get caught in the middle of that😱😱😱
Thanks for your post. #2 would absolutely be a large print on my wall...had I taken the photo.
Beautifully done, John. Aside from the fantastic tigers roughhousing, the snowing backdrop is one of my favorite snowy days scenes of all time. If the Zoo would post your #2 photo, the parking lot will be full on snowy days.
