I think the first photo would have been helped if you had used a Circular Polarizing filter to remove the glare from the water.

HI Gardener, welcome to the hog. I like what you have taken. in #1 maybe center in on the cluster of boats on the right and zoom in a little past the breaker. that would have taken care of a lot of the glare. In #2 very good positioning. #3 you got it. the bee stands out well done.

Hello Bruce and Welcome. I like your idea on picture #2. I took one simlar with my wife holding a Jet Fighter in her hand.
This is a good site and you will see a lot and you can ask anything in here with no problem.
I will try to locate the pic of my wife and post it in here.
