Just six days prior to Joe Biden’s inauguration date, President Donald Trump has reportedly declassified a massive trove of documents on “Obama-gate,” including documents relating to the surveillance of President Trump, his campaign and Christopher Steele’s debriefing report.

Fox News anchor Bret Baier made a brief announcement about Trump declassifying the documents during a news broadcast Thursday evening. The documents are reportedly expected to be released to the public by Friday, or on Monday.

In an interview with Fox Business host Lou Dobbs Thursday evening, Just The News editor John Solomon provided additional details, saying Trump has declassified a stack of documents more than a foot tall.

“These are the things that the FBI has tried to keep from the public for four years,” Solomon said.

Solomon explained what he thought was the most important document: Christopher Steele, in his debriefing with the FBI after he was fired for leaking, said, “The reason I leaked is because I needed to help Hillary Clinton cover up her email problem, so I leaked to turn the attention to Donald Trump.”

“The Russia collusion narrative was invented to protect Hillary Clinton from ongoing revelations about her email scandal. It was a political dirty trick,” Solomon said.

I’m anxious to read them without the “spin” that's been happening. The fact they were released without the benefit of a Durham investigation report is unusual

He’s definitely up to something. I’d like to read them as well. We’ll see if anything comes of it. If there was wrongdoing we should know about it.

You can bet if the documents benefited or supported his conspiracy thoughts he would have done so before the e******n.

Anything done now and especially in such a low key manor is only done to financially benefit trumps after life .

I don't see anything low key about this. I'm waiting to see what's in them before I jump to a conclusion.

The Republicans were the originals to hire Steele to investigate Trump. She only picked him up after Trump was nominated. Steele could care less what information he gathered as he's British and has nothing to gain. He reported facts only........

He did broadcast fro the tallest mountain and the media chose to not investigate and to call what Trump said lies.

Now we will have to wait and see to find out if the documents mean that Trump was telling the t***h or if he was indeed lying about everything. From what has already come out, I tend to think that Obamagate is real and that some people at least high up in the FBI should be in jail.

After all, Horowitz investigation found a number of irregularities, he just concluded that he couldn't prove intend, which makes no sense to me because most laws do not require intent. We have proof that several people in the FBI lied and none of them were truly held accountable. Now lets wait and see what the evidence actually shows us.
