Heres a few pics of my pup. Ive been experimenting with b&w and was wonder if i need to change what im doing to get a better picture?
I dont have the info of the settings right now, but will look them up and let you know.
I really like the second one. On the third, with the B&W I thought it looked like the subject blended too much with the background. I've read that if you are converting from color to B&W you can get better contrast if you over saturate the color before converting. I've tried this with mixed results.
Hmmm, I love 'em all (maybe the dog) but agree second is best BW although the first is, in my opinion, the best photo, gallery quality.
Great detail with just the right amount of sharp.

Good Pictures. Beautiful Dog.
Nice work--- your focus and the light tones are excellent---
One thing I would do is make sure I do not cut off the lower part of the dogs mouth.
Yea kinda messed the mouth up, wasnt even looking at that when i took the pic, now i do.
All 3 are very good but my favorite is the first!
It just has that laid back dog look!!!
