Hi - I was in the right place at the wrong time.
The original image was underexposed.
I did the best I could using Lightroom and I thought I was happy with it until my better half thought that it was (still) overall blah and somewhat dreary.
Is it possible to make this image appear like it was taken on a nice day using Lightroom?
I have Photoshop available to me but I am a rank beginner in PS.
I have uploaded the before and after photos and I welcome any suggestions and techniques to improve this image.
Thanks for your help.

You’re recovery efforts have yielded a quite nice, brooding scene - I like it that way. It’s not blah in the least, IMO. In fact, work with those dark clouds to make them a bit more moody.

Any file (except maybe an exe) can be uploaded to UHH. Non-image files will show a link to download. The potential problem with a raw file is UHH doesn't accept anything larger than 20 mb.
Thanks for your topic in PP Forum!

A lighter version (2), maybe what better 1/2 likes...
The darker has the exposure set to about +22, instead of +76.
Tried to download my versions, but UHH did cooperate...

Not sure what mood you want to convey, but here's a quick edit staying with the dark and dramatic; using Luminar though as I don't have Lightroom.
You all are so talented. Some really nice redos here. Beautiful moody image to begin with and several of you added your touches and talent. It’s interesting to see each of your interpretations.
Here's with PSE adjustments in Haze Removal, slight Levels adjustment to add brightness, and a slight increase in Saturation. The Haze Removal added drama to the clouds, which really suits this image, IMO.
Thanks everybody!
