I threatened to trade my Trax in for Corvette to give to my grandson. My daughter told me she would move far away and never speak to me again. I reckon she had a valid point, given that Aodhan is only 2 years old. So I took him to my favorite car lot, Walmart. He first spotted a BMW and was pretty excited. Then he saw the Minnie Mouse car and chose that instead. I went back to get it, after he went home. The box said requires some assembly. It did. A lot of assembly. It was under the tree on Christmas morning. We put a bunch of gifts in the seat of the car, but when he realized he got the car he threw all the other stuff on the floor and jumped in it. It was to cold on Christmas to go outside, so he mostly crashed into stuff in the iiving room. The next day was pretty warm so I took the cars off the drive way and he drove around it for almost 2 hours. I took these snapshots of him cruising my driveway.

The very face of happiness. Good for him; good for you; and, best to his mother.

Grandson? Pink car for your grandson? Nice set of images however. Poor kid, never let him drive it with his bro's.
What a great grandma!!! Sets a dangerous precedent though --- what will you give him at 16?
Poor kid. Looks like a trans gender daughter in the making.

I understand Amazon is having a sale on shin guards and reinforced high top boots. Or are you good at dodging?

It was what he wanted. I'm sure he would have preferred a new Corvette, but he can't reach the pedals.

Yeah, that would be a shame wouldn't it?
Wonderful pictures - especially in these difficult times. Nice to see such joy. Stay safe though.
