A long time customer asked if I would come and paint a few things for her. While I was there, I grabbed some pictures of the pretty yard around her beautiful Spanish home. All were taken yesterday except the first one. It is a floor I painted in her Porte co chere' several years ago.
Floor I painted
Front Entry
Back Entry
Bench in yard
We call this weeping tree "cousin It"
The fountain
Seat in the garden

Thanks, Jim. I always appreciate your comments. I love her house, but the grounds and courtyards are fabulous.

Thank you for looking and for your nice comment
Nice spread she's got there. Her name wouldn't be Meg Abux, would it?

Thanks Pat. That was rough. I chose to sit on a stool to paint that design. Could you see me sitting in the floor or crawling around painting that? Hilarious thought at my age!!!

Actually, the house was given to her...furnished beautifully. Two elderly sisters lived there and Carolyn always told them if they ever sold the house, she wanted to buy it. She helped the old gals out with a lot they couldn't do for themselves. A few years later, they went to the nursing home and having no family but a niece they didn't like, they gave the house to Carolyn. She almost had a heart attack!

Love the hacienda. Wouldn't mind a pad like that. Your photos are great too and the painted floor.
