Video Import to LRc ?

I've created a sub-folder under Family pics called Video Pics. I have 35 separate videos on my D:drive (all VOB files). I try to import a video file into that folder in LRC but but it won't move it over so I can access it from within LRS. Shouldn't I be able to do this?

Did you check the Adobe documentation for supported video formats?

Thanks for the response. Guess LRc does not support .VOB. (one of the most common types). Oh well let me see if I can convert them in Premiere Pro.

I've never seen a camera that records in .VOB format. A .VOB file is from a DVD disc. I can't see needing Lightroom Classic to catalogue your DVDs!

I've managed to convert the vob files to mp2 files, then created a folder in LRc and imported them into that folder. That way I can play the videos within LRc without leaving the app. The vob files are created with an older video camera then put onto a DVD.
