Dear haren...I love the diagonal line crossing the image in barn two. It appears the barn was built on a slope, perhaps to shed water after a rain. Is that the case or is the foundation of the barn sitting on level ground and the surrounding area slopes? Beautiful work.

Thanks....I like your pick up looks like a Ford. I had a 1950 Chevrolet when we lived in the country.

Thank you. No level ground here. It could be straightened a bit. The barn is no longer standing like so many. It sits on land that was on the stagecoach route through Iowa to St. Paul Minnesota.
