I was browsing DVD sets on Amazon and reading some reviews. One struck me as very funny. Something like -

"We brought this series with us on a camping trip and binged-watched the whole thing."

So they went camping and spent their time in a tent (or trailer) watching TV.

I guess you do what you are comfortable and familiar with. If you go walking the woods you may get eaten by a bear or kidnapped by sasquatch

Lets be nice and go with it was raining and they were stuck in the camper or tent anyway. Or maybe they were watching at night.

Once at the large Railway Museum I belong to I saw a guy with one of those combo monopod hiking staffs with a smart phone mounted on it. Part of the time when he was staring at the screen I think he was not making video of our museum but watching videos of it that other people had done.

And then they would make a movie about it that someone could take on a camping trip and watch from the comfort of their trailer or tent

In our camping days we did not miss TV, movies, etc. Didn't have enough hours in the days to do hiking, sight seeing, fishing, canoeing, gathering deadwood, and making new friends around the campfires at night.
On rainy days we played UNO or Pit. Those campfire friends became life-long friends after our camping days were over.

Maybe after a long day of hiking, swimming and whatever they ate dinner and then binge watched for a couple hours. Something they may not have been able to do at home.

Here is one many of you will enjoy. It shows up on Amazon and eBay regularly.
Walter Cronkite Selects: The 60 Greatest Old-Time Radio Shows that Transitioned to TV Audio CD.
Be careful to make sure you get the CD version rather than the Cassettes.
I would avoid the cassettes due to their age.

We always kept a stack of DVDs in our trailer and with bad weather had something to occupy our time. I must admit that when tornadoes came close it was hard to keep up with the movie. Twice we had large tree fall near us... 1 of those times the branches brushed our trailer. Also 2 or 3 times had limbs damage our trailer roof.

Just a side story. My wife's uncle went hunting and lost his dog. He put his jacket on the ground. He went back the next day and there was the dog sleeping on the jacket.
