Route 66 school bus conversion

We drove the route 66 trip from Missouri to Illinois. This bus was one of the attractions. I don't remember what town or state it was in.

Way to much weight is up high. That machine would lend to a terrible, if not unsafe, driving experience.

It is not drivable it is permanent got power hooked up to it.

I don't see any power to the bus, the power line goes to the building.
I doubt any Utility company would make a permeant connection to something like that.

Interesting vehicle and photos, Jim. I'm willing to bet these were taken in Pontiac at the Illinois Route 66 Hall of Fame and Museum.
