Dennis, it’s not a matter of deciding which side to totally believe and which side to totally disbelieve. You take what you hear, and see if the facts or reality bear it out.

Anyone will be wrong at times, sometimes even despite the best of intentions. Obama didn’t lie to all of America. (He only lied to you???) He didn’t need to.

But if there is a pattern where what you hear doesn’t line up with what you see, and there appears an intent and purpose to deceive, then I believe you can assume that the person or source is a liar.

As for Trump, I’m beginning to feel sorry for him. I think he’s delusional, he needs to create his own reality, and he needs the rest of the world to go along with it. And now the world is on to him.

Unlike so many of my colleagues on here, I am not a Constitutional and legal expert.

But my understanding is that a p**********l pardon can cover past crimes that have not come to light yet. Pardons thru the Judiciary system cover specific crimes and accepting such a pardon is an admission of guilt. P**********l pardons are different. One does not accept them they are just granted, so there is no admission of guilt involved.

I would not think any type of pardon could cover a future act.

But what do I know? I am sure one of our better-qualified experts will address your question!
