I have a compact flash that I came across, All it says on it is 2GB. I'd like to know the write speed.
It's not going to be anything worth considering for 'speed' use'. I opened my desk draw where, for some reason, I still have an 8GB card marked at 30MB/s and a 4GB at 15MB/s.
I use a lot of 2GB CF card at work. They are not fast yet I paid about $70 each.

That’s what they cost :-(
Before I retired I used old slow cards to transfer files from one system to another or to give files to some one. I paid for them, I am going to get some kind of use out of them.

I haven’t tried it, but since it shows up as a drive letter, any of the usual hard disk speed test tools should do it. They typically do writes and reads of various file sizes, so just pick one that corresponds to your typical image size to get an idea. Here’s a list of 8 popular free ones:
