Harrier (Marsh) hawks grid-sweep across the marsh in seeming perpetual motion. When they do land they are easily mistaken for a Red Tail hawk until you get close enough to take a good pic. But, by then off goes the Harrier. A Red Tail will sit and pose. These pics end with a Red Tail guarding a headless duck (killed by a Great Horned Owl) from a Harrier--neither ate the duck--different story different day.
