Problem with the back arrow

When I get on a thread and want to go back to the home page of the forum I click on the back arrow on the tool bar and nothing happens. I have to go to the top of the page and click on which ever section I'm on (if I can remember) and then continue.
Anyone else having this problem or is it just me? It happens only on this site.

Not having the exact same but similar... I click the back space to return to the list of Q's, but then it goes to something else or home... Wierd.. Again like you, happens only on this site...

Have you tried restarting your computer?
I rarely turn my computer off and sometimes after days of being on a component will crash that I am not even aware of other than the fact my computer begins to misbehave, I usually find that a restart will reset the programs, I especially notice this while using the internet.

Yep, tried restarting, nothing changes. It's no big deal except I have to remember where I was. Sometimes I have trouble remembering who I am.

LOL I have three laptops and each behave poorly in their own way, I just learn to use them according to their quirks.... but what I hate the most is after typing a couple of paragraphs of text it all disappears because of the sensitivity of the touch pad... sometimes ctrl z will bring it back but not always.

ctrl z!! That happens to me every now and again, I try not to be so wordy but sometimes I just get carried away. Thanks for the tip, a whole lot easier then rewriting everything.

ps. The program also crashes every few minutes, causing me to have to re-boot. then start all over. Grrrrr.

When the back button fails try clicking the refresh button then back button.
If before refreshing you click on the little down arrow to the right of the Back and forward buttons, you will probably see several entries such as "Double-Click.com".
These are tiny programs that read your posts and report back to companies like Google so they can place "personalized ads" o your screen.
I downloaded and installed "Adblocker", no more ads and the back button works every time.

I have the Back Button Blues also but it happens randomly and on other sites as well.
