Finally, a sunny day!

To get out and test the new Sony 200-600mm zoom.

Most of these are SOOC and 1000, at f7, at nearly 600mm on a Sony A7III. I am very happy with the setup for birds. All shot handheld and cropped. What impresses me is lack of grain, even at 200% of original.

Nice to see the sun out somewhere - making it a day for some great shots!

Nice lens & some nice work. You usually only get grain with higher iso use. Usually not a problem when shooting in good light. What was the iso for the birds in the tree?

I set it to Auto ISO and +.3. The ISO on the shot was 125. Some of the closer ones were 600, but different backgrounds. I do think I lightened that one slightly as from that distance it is hard to get front lighting.

Nice pictures, we finally got a little sun here in Western Pa. after 10 days of overcast.
