Cold, dark cloudy day with a cold breeze from the Southwest, 40 F. Birds mostly hangin' out feeding and preening. Mallards, Pintail, Green-winged Teal, American Wigeon in evidence. Captured a Kingfisher fishing and catching a fish-all ruined by atmospheric distortion, similar to heat distortion. Used a polarizer, it does help a bit but the grain overwhelms the image. Posted a few I like though they are not her sharp. Had to include some more Sanderings shots. These little birds are amazing in flight!
D500, 500pF, 1/2000, f 8, ISOs from 320 to 8000! EC-1.0, polarizer.
The trees shot has me thinking of some landscapes I wish to capture. Ordered a 24mm f1.8 lens today for that purpose.
Download please.
Enjoy!

Great set of photographs,
I especially like, 5, 1, & 3.
Tom
Nice, clean captures despite the atmospherics. Please stay safe and keep on sharing.
A fabulous set. All a great capture. Mahalo for sharing.
Another very nice set, Tim!
All wonderful, but #s 1 and 6 are spectacular! Also like the moody quality of #3 (no birds).

Thanx for viewing. The Sanderlings put on such a show! I took 48 images of them this trip! Fun little guys!
What a fine set, Tim. Very nicely done.
