I have not posted any images for a while - busy learning how to get the most out of my new Sony A7c.
These shots were all taken with the kit lens (28-60mm) during the first few days of ownership are all over the place on subject matter.
You will note vast differences in ISO and shutter speeds where I chose to use aperture priority - I eventually settled down in manual mode, I was really surprised at the image quality of the plant shot at 12800 ISO!
I am really pleased with the camera ergonomics and IQ and have now taken close to 3000 photos since November 11 acquisition.
Feel free to comment on any of my images and check out the EXIFs if you want more details.
These jpegs are all hand-held, SOOC, IBIS was on.
I have not posted any images for a while - busy le... (show quote)

Glad to see some a7C photos. Having been a longtime Sony user, thanks for the posting

I thought long and hard about this, having been a Nikon user for so long. I think this is a winner for me.

Thanks, Mike. This is a great walk-around rig with the "kit" lens.

Looks like you're sure enjoying it - and with great results

Yes - I was debating staying with Nikon for a mirrorless, but the small body size, back-lit sensor and a host of other differences, took the plunge. I am getting more out of this every day. Thanks for the positive vibes.

Nice set Ours, looks like you are getting to know your new tool. Joe

Thanks for the positive vibe, Joe. Quite a difference navigating the Sony menu from the Nikons... I'll get it set up to my liking soon, I hope!

Nice! Amazing that you can shoot at 12800 iso & have no noise in the photo.

Yep - blew my socks off! I am not a big fan of high ISOs, but this sensor and the firmware seem to be less skittish than me!

Indeed. The more I use this, the more I like it. This is an amazing combination of hardware and firmware in a small package.

Really sharp, clear photos. My son just bought a Sony A7iii, it it takes excellent pictures. Sony is a big winner in mirrorless! Thanks for sharing your photos!😆 keep that camera

This is virtually the same camera, just put into a smaller case with smaller EVF and screen. I guess I am past the maximum number of shots to take it back now! P.S. I'm loving it.
