Nice set. I think most photographers return the same site when it is close to home. I know I do.

I find myself often returning to some of the places I have photographed many times in the past. Most of these spots are close to home and have features that are constantly changing. Fisherman's Terminal is one such location. I can get there in 15 minutes even in bad traffic and there is always something interesting to see and photograph. This series was photographed on two separate mornings in the fog. The first day the fog was thick (first five images). On the second day the fog was beginning to lift (second five images). I thought both days made for some interesting shots. What do you think? All shots taken with a Nikon D810 and a Tamron 24x70mm, f/2.8 G2 lens.

Way cool! Beautiful capture of great subject matter. For some it was hard to tell which end was up, the water was so still. Kinda left me in a "Quandary".

Reminds me of Seattle; grey. But actually, you captured some very nice compositions here and some are worth some extra effort in post.

Thank you Nalu. It's been grey most of the time here this fall and winter (so far). I think I've pretty much put everything I know into the post production of these images (using Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) & Photoshop). If there is something else you feel I could do to improve them please let me know. I'm always ready to learn new things and my feeling are not easily hurt.

Thanks for sharing these. There are clearly many different ways to "see" a setting like that; it's a fantastic subject and it's no surprise you keep returning. Great pictures, thanks.

Great set of pics. I'd guess a few skippers would be glad to buy.

Beautiful set, saxman. Love harbor photos with work boats and fog makes it special. All nice but 2 & 3 struck me the most.
