What a cute pig that was at one time. He/she was very well loved by it's mother and enjoyed many good playtimes with his siblings. My fervent wish is not to be buried in a concrete box, but to be capable enough when death is imminent, to be able to get to the deepest woods, where my cast off physical self would be of some benefit to life that succeeds me.

I do not know where you grew up, but it was not around pigs. Pigs are very intelligent but they are not vegetarians. Yes they eat vegetables and any thing else they can get ahold of. A sow will back her own pigs into a corner,. sit on them and then eat them. They have eaten many people that have fallen into their pen. I was in law enforcement for twenty plus years and we had several murders where the bodies where disposed of buy putting them in the hog lots. They can be very mean and dangerous but they do also taste good.

A Philippine family that established a mission for our church did a food sampling one year to raise money and a whole roast pig was one of the several items on the menu. MMM MMM good!
