I love the last 4 shots. You should encourage your daughter to contribute to UHH
I see you were burning wood. What else was in there?

She is a member, but when she posted some of her photo's some of the members ripped them apart without offering any constructive advice, and being the sensitive soul she is, it hurt her a lot and she stopped posting.

I guess this should be a lesson to anyone posting comments about member submissions. I guess most of us could use help with our photography skills from time to time, but even the toughest customer can be hurt by unkind comments.

It's a shame that your daughter experienced this type of feedback, but I would encourage her to try again. We can all benefit from "constructive" criticism.

So true, i know i have received some very good advice and feed back, i will ask her again today. Thank-You for your comments, i am sure my daughter will appreciate your feed back on her pics

very lovely and mesmerizing. Tell your daughter this Long time photographer (43 years of shutter clicking) thinks she has an eye for composition and is very creative. She should start posting again and as long as she likes her photos that is all that matters.

A copper pipe in a green garden hose is what brought out the colours
