Focus Stacked Image of a Yellow Moth

This is my False Crocus Geometer moth which is a quite lovely little yellow moth with brown accents. Sadly, it is nearing the end of its use as a specimen for they are very fragile and then to fall apart over time. I pin them into a bed of styrofoam in a cardboard shoe box where I place mothballs to keep microscopic size scavenger insects from turning them to dust.

As always, you present stunning pictures that reflect the amount of detail work you have done.

Thanks, UTMike. Not quite as breathtaking as the scenic views of your mountains and skies although it is a pleasing yellow with brown and grey overtones.

Thanks, Kpmac. The small fragile moths don't preserve well compared to a beetle so I must enjoy posing for sessions them while they last.
