I agree NMGal. I’ve read there is a local effort to restore it but it’s located in the poorest county in the state and competes for interest with two other church restoration efforts, within 10 miles down the same highway, in the next county. Back in the day when “cotton was king” this community was in the tall cotton, but for several years now the major industry is forestry. Thanks for taking a look.

A very fine set of a beautiful structure. It is quite different from the typical country church and really should be restored.
