Milkweed flowers, green pods and open dry pods spreading seeds.
Not in the league of crab grass, Bermuda grass, dandelions or sow thistle but they can spread really well if conditions are right.
More tests of the Yongnuo ring flash.
All three:
5DIV, Canon 100 f/2.8 Macro, 1/200 @ f/8, ISO-400
Hand held, spot meter, flash did fire.

It seems to do really well. Very good for a first try (and not reading the manual) just playing with the buttons to see what they do I got some good results.

The wife says I should see Kaiser about surgery for my cataracts when Covid goes back in its cave. They are effecting my colors when I edit.

Great series! When I downloaded number 2 my eye went to the seed pod and thought to myself, I’d love to see it close up. Then scrolled down to number 3 and there it was. It (No. 3) might be interesting in monochrome. Nice work!

Very nice images Robert
I kind of miss the milkweeds here on my new place . On my old place I had milkweed all around the edge of the hayfield, the mowing of the hay seemed to keep them in check.
