I bought a macro Ring Light from fellow UHH member WF2B in July and the spirit finally moved me to do some macro. So to test it I put my 100 mm f/2.8 macro on my 5DIV. Mounted the Ring Light flash, took one shot of my paper weight on the desk to make sure the batteries I put in were good and went out in the yard. This was my first subject. I'll post more later, I may stretch them out for the weekend.

Thank you so much. Today when I went out to fill the bird feeders I noticed the flower is shriveling and drying out. I think I will grab a light and go out and get it to do some macro work on.
