If these are on glass, can you flip them and get the negative view? Does your toning have the same effect on the reverse?

They digital. not on printed.

I couldn't remember the Original Ambrotype process, other than some my Grand mother had her's ran from a Yellow tint to almost sepia.

I think what makes these images work is the subjects clothing and props fit the era.
