Keep your eyes open so you don't miss something beautiful...
I've enjoyed getting out in nature during this COVID period, and I usually take my Nikon D500 coupled with a Nikkor 200-500mm telezoom and my eyes searching for interesting avian subjects. With a little luck and some patience, some really nice photo ops may occur. Here are a few of my recent shots.

Frank, I appreciate your taking the time to view and comment on my images. I had a good time finding and photographing the subjects and even doing the post processing, which in most cases greatly enhances the images (in my humble opinion). I almost always post process but I also always try to make the changes subtle and not too extreme. Have a great weekend and stay well. jak

CPO...thank you. I agree. I was so lucky to capture those photos. The wren was very willing to come and stay close, though it didn't want to stand still for long. I had to focus and capture it in almost constant motion. The Oystercatchers were no problem as they moved fairly slowly and were in good light. Thanks for the supportive comments. Hope you are well and experiencing a nice new year. jak
