I've seen a Ricoh GR III ad come up on this site frequently and have some real interest in Ricoh/Pentax products as a K3 owner/user. However, this ad clearly shows another camera rather than the GR III, which appears to be a compact camera of some sort with I think it was a 35 to 70mm zoom lens. While I like the size and specs of the GR III, I just can't handle the fixed wide angle lens and want something with a bit more flexibility. Anyway, when you click on the ad, it goes directly to the real GR III, but I have to wonder why they show the other camera in the first place. Frankly, I am not familiar with the camera shown in the ad as being part of the Ricoh/Pentax line, and would like to find out more about it if possible. Does anyone know anything about the camera shown in the ad and if it is indeed a Ricoh/Pentax product?

There is no such ad “on this page” although I have seen it occasionally.

Writing a lengthy comment about the accuracy of the ad’s content suggests that you may not appreciate the actual value of such ads. The actual value is waaaay less than zero. There is NEVER any reason to read targeted pop ups. Apparently you’ve failed to ignore the ignorable. No problem. Easy to fix.

I think you see such ads because you are interested in the camera and searched for it. Google then decided to give you that ads.

You should make sure you don't get any ads or pop-ups. Take care of your privacy setiings and Ban Google!!!! ;)

And as already advised, I do NOT read these things and neither should you ... nor anyone else.

Since pop ups are targeted to you, they may indeed remind you of something you are interested in. The rational follow up ... if you really are interested ... is to pursue a reliable source of information. But NEVVVVUH open a pop up.
