Thanks, Linda. I had a theme in mind and worked on variations of it.

Thanks, although my Better Half believes that I tend to lean more toward insanity.
Very cooooool Job. Yes, pun intended. 😊
Good job, interesting job figuring out the steps you might have taken creating this image. 👏👏👏

Thanks for stopping by and for the reply. This one was created using layer masks. Starting with an idea of what I wanted by following the theme of the dangers that lurk in the woods from the past two, I thought that the Grizzly Bear would be the apex predator that ruled his domain.
Then it was finding stock images that I could layer and mask. The Grizzly Bear has a distinctive back which I thought would make a good representation of the distant mountains. Add an image for the background and an image for the foreground then size, mask and blend them to appear as one. Then mask the Grizzly Bear in a way that would represent its stealth as it roams its domain.
Sippy, your imagination even exceeds your closeup skills. Wonderfully done.

This is the third of my series of the woods and the domain of the creatures that master it. The back of the Grizzly Bear is a hint of the far off mountains where it spends its warmer days. The valley floor is where it must hunt and fight for its survival in colder times where stealth makes it the top of the food chain as it is always on the hunt. Don't go in the woods alone for you may not see him coming!
Say... that's kind of neat.
