Still learning how to best use the little Z50 so I took it down to the park yesterday to try to catch some geese flying about. Taken with an FTZ adapter and a 24-120 Nikkor lens.
Very nicely done, Bill. The download is beautiful. Happy New Year.

Bill, nice job. I see sea gulls as well as geese so that tells me that you are not all that far from salt water.
It is a beautiful image Bill. You did very well while learning your new camera.
There is something about mirrorless that some ignore and it is the short distance between the rear of the lens and the sensor, considerably shorter than the same distance for a dSLR. It is the same principle used with rangefinder cameras and the result is a better, sharper image.
I am not familiar with Nikon mirrorless cameras, they are practically new in the game. Using adapted lenses seems to work very well and your image is proof of it.
Happy New Year and enjoy your new toy.
Very nice, Bill. A must to DL.

Thanks FiddleMaker - I'm glad you liked it and you have a good eye. Although we're not right by the shoreline, we do see gulls as well from time to time.

Thanks William - I'm glad you liked it and appreciate your very nice comments. Attaching the lens to the camera with an adaptor does add some space between the lens and sensor, but I haven't noticed any impacts on image quality or focusing speed/accuracy. And the eye/face focus is nothing short of amazing.
