Ahh... how the brain works! Sweet, Cany! "We shall overcome some daaaaaay...."
Good one, Cany. However, you also included plenty of tonal values and great DOF.

Dog kinda looks like a shepherd lab cross to me. Nice shot Cany. chase
Very furry dog, he won't get cold in the snow! Although it looks like his owner is already buried! Oh! You mean THAT dog. Well, he's pretty cool too.
I am happy that I discovered the far horizon, Jim. I was about to send a PM to Sylvia cautioning her about giving you ideas about drinking early in the day. (LOL).

The hiker and the dog maybe?
And for any who might be curious, or viewed the pic on an itsy-bitsy screen, I thought it might be wise (or foolish, you decide) to add this technical note:
The main image as posted was arrived at by the process of focus stacking. Because I find enjoyment in providing extreme near/far planes of focus in some images, its a process I use quite often. Its a process, however, that is not without the occasional challenge. Rather than going into the various ways the challenge can be met, it IS worth mentioning that subject movement is probably the biggest bugaboo that'll somehow need to be addressed. Or not. As the attached may show. In effect, the posted image was comprised of six individual exposures. Though only seconds elapsed from one exposure to the next while I (manually) re-focused, the hiker and his dog moved during those brief times. It was most uncivil of both, but challenge made, challenge met.

You're missing that the "dog" is weeds. A weed terrier...
Thank you for reposting. I now clearly see the man & dog.
Looks to me like you used the removal tool, removing 5 people and 3 dogs, and thus creating a false sense of isolation. Utah is experiencing a huge influx of people escaping Wuhan lockdowns. Just tell your wife you'll need a mask and an extra six pack when you go out in the future. You will notice "focus" becoming more difficult.
