came across this the other day. I couldn't tell if they were rounding up for slaughter or what. Any way, it shows modern cowboys and cowgirls. It wasn't a very good day, cloudy, foggy and overcast.

From pictures 1 & 3, looks like they might be branding these younger cattle.

Yes, I thought about that too, Floyd. But I didn't see any fire. Maybe they were using a propane torch to heat the iron with.. Yup, I just looked at another, wider angle and only horse trailers there and nothing for cattle. Give yourself a star.... I didn't post it, there was a lot more fog and looks blurrier.

Thanks for looking.

The weather wasn't nice, but it looks like everybody was putting in a good day's work - hard work

Not slaughter; they are all too young. With only calves, probably marking (castration, ear tags, vaccination, drenching --). Pretty good shots, by the way. You just didn't play with them enough after you took them.

A lot were just sitting around, but mostly women. I was on a two lanes road with no place to pull over so I stopped in my lane, got our and shot a few and left. It was a straight away so I could see far enough to get back in the car and run, so I felt pretty safe, but in a hurry.

Thanks for looking.

Yup, I looks at another and no cattle trucks. And they were calves.

It was pretty foggy and overcast. I just have a quick adjust. Could probably go better, but no way to get rid of the fog. Could probably bring it the color more, but thought it wouldn't look right with the day the way it was. Maybe I'll look at them again.

Thanks for looking cahale, and the comments.

Here is the last one again. Did another few seconds on it, although the first ones look more like what I saw. This makes a prettier photo.
