Welcome to the first 2021 edition of Free Sunday. Great big thanks and appreciation for all the hosts for all the challenges in 2020. Of course 2020 had bigger challenges for us all, and a big thanks to the greater power who has helped us all through it. I know I can’t give him enough credit for his blessing in our life.

So here we go. There’s no particular subject to follow and you can post anything “family friendly” from your photo collection as well as any new tips for post processing that you have come across. We’re all here to learn and enjoy.

Thanks once again for the challenge. I think photographers (including me) should try to make artistic self portraits.

St-Grégoire-de-Montmorency............where tourists are rare

Are they rare there because it's cold?

Sad history here, three companies there, one was a huge textile enterprise where the majority worked and now all three have been shut down and torn down. It is right next to the Montmorency Falls

I think I could stand to go there. If you dress up for cold weather it's not all that harsh.

It was too slick to try and drive someplace to catch the waning Cold Moon. I need more practice. The moon rises through the trees in our yard.

What is the Cold Moon?

Walking free

I had to walk a road like this in Indiana in a snow storm once. Fortunately a nice person picked me up and gave me a ride most of the way.

We took a walk in Pittsburgh yesterday and took a few shots along the way; it was very cloudy as you'll see. The first shot was taken in late fall, all the others are from yesterday's walk. Thanks for the oportunity to share. Happy new year to all.

Thanks. I don't know that city, so you have me a chance to explore.

I don't usually post phone shots, but here are some from this morning after chores with Rosie.

These are high quality, and I think you should avail yourself of the always on you camera more often.

The second is kind of dark, but I can still tell it's a nice subject.

It's been a pretty gloomy week, this is all I got (that was worth sharing )

The drilling rig shot looks like something mysterious. I think you should play around with this image a bit, see what else you can get with it.

Big weather change, but both pictures are very good.
