These photos aren’t wall hangers, but an example of bird behavior. Mobbing of large predator birds or raptors is commonly seen with crows and even smaller birds. Protecting turf or young is often the reason. The raptors usually seem unfazed. There are a couple shots here of large raptors being mobbed by other raptors, which is always fascinating to me. And all parties usually make it out unscathed!

After 20 seconds though, it landed in a tree and the crow flew off

There were two kites here and one just flew into this young harrier hawk, knocking it upside down!

This osprey seemed completely worry free as the crow mobbed it

Eventually the crow landed on the tree and was squawking at it.

Thanks so much, curmudgeon! It’s fascinating to watch these guys! Harder to get them in perfect focus!
Wow! These are great! How long did it take to accumulate all these cool shots?
An outstanding set of action shots! They are something to be proud of.

All of these were taken over the last eight months. I go birding most every day, though with my camera, so lots of opportunities. Thanks for checking my pics, CPO! I always enjoy yours!

Not wall hangers for sure. But I like seeing bird behavior too! Thank you very much, NMGal!

Outstanding shots. Gary
Thanks Gary! I enjoy trying to document raptor encounters! Today I photographed a kestrel and barn owl, but not quite close enough!
