Nice memories. Lived in Greenfield back in '74.

It's a nice photo. I believe software exists now that could sharpen up that photo somewhat (not the typical PP sharpening) if you want to do that. (I don't have it and haven't used it.)

Looking at old photos and remembering the good times is the best way to temporarily leave "today" and all its misery behind.

Great photo John. We have had several discussions in this forum about what makes a great photograph. I submit your image into evidence as exhibit number 1. I can't say that I see indication that the young fellow in the picture would be spending his retirement chasing around the Indiana countryside photographing old barns.

When I was a kid it was paper straws. Don’t remember any plastic straws.

I found this old print the other day and scanned it into the computer. It was taken by a waitress (my camera) in the early β€˜80s after a TG Sheppard concert in Greenfield, Indiana. My wife and I are the couple in front (we’ve all changed a bit), and our friends make up the rest of the group. Nostalgia--good times.

a nice memory to think about, john...you and your wife are young and cute!
