(CNN)Vice President Mike Pence's lawyers asked a federal judge Thursday to reject a request from Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas that attempts to force Pence to ignore e*******l v**es of several key states when Congress meets to certify the 2020 p**********l e******n next week.

Pence argues that the legal issues raised by Gohmert, along with a slate of Arizona Republicans, should be addressed to the House and Senate (if they should be raised at all).

Gohmert's lawsuit is a last-gasp attempt by Republicans to persuade Pence to interfere in the declaration of President-elect Joe Biden's victory and flip the e******n for President Donald Trump. The brief, filed with the Eastern District of Texas, does not say if Pence would entertain that possibility, but there is no public indication he will."

After five years of having his head stuck up Donald's butt, Pence is trying to save what little is left of his shameful reputation. Trump can't even rely on his vice president to support his c**p. It's over. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Get used to it. Happy New Year!

Just how dumb do you have to be to believe anything that Trump says? A week before the e******n, he said that we had turned the corner on the p******c. We lost 77,000 people in December. How is this v*****e distribution plan going? 20 million inoculations promised by January. 2,000 delivered while Israel has already v******ted 12% of their population. Continued belief in Trump’s lies is proof of stupidity.
