I’m all for that if you mean making the posting of prices a rule, along with a way to prevent “helpful” misinformed jerks from butting into a for sale threads.
Since you can’t know which replies will be of that type, I see only one software solution:
Seller posts info and pix, including price, but no replies are allowed in the thread. If you like the offer, PM the seller. If you think there’s something amiss about the offer, likewise PM the seller.
All that’s needed is to allow the seller to lock the thread. Sellers can choose to lock or not to lock. It’s just an option.
Without the above control, I’d rather not “do my business in the street”, open to poorly informed kibitzers jumping in.

This thread is now open for full scale highjacking. I have suspended my offering due to pressing family stuff.
When the family stuff is finally over it might be interesting to revisit here ... just to see how it goes.
