Just a little something to get me in the right frame of mind for the next three months of winter.
Really needs to be viewed in DDL to get the full picture (pun intended). What a great sky, the buildings in the background provide a frame of reference. The only negative I can see is that the deer on the right seems to be sunk a little too much into the ground instead of laying on top of it. As they used to say on Bandstand 'I'll give it a 92'.
Good concept, Frank! The right hand deer does have an angular neck.

Well let me start if I could have gotten a 92 consistently while in school who knows were I would have gone in life. So I will take that.
Many times I will go out with the intention of just shooting skies. This one was a recent shot. I will have to revisit the sitting deer to see how it looks at perhaps 200% while I am in PS.
Thanks for your analysis.

Thanks Mike, she may have been sitting but she was keeping an eye on her fawn.

I thank you for mentioning PS. I was looking at the photo for a couple of minutes wondering how the light was coming from the far side of the deer and yet the near side of the deer were in light rather than shadow. I also noticed the doe on the right sinking into the ground. I guess if it is a so called fantasy photo it is OK. But truthfully I just do not care for it. Just my opinion and meaning no offense at all.

Dennis I take no offense when someone does not care for any of my images posted. I learned a long time ago that I can not or will not try to please everyone who views any of my posting. I already have a head of grey hair and do not need for me to start pulling them out trying to please everyone.
As for the deer "sinking" she actually was that low in the ground. I went back into the orginal shot that I extracted her after Jack remarked about the sitting deer. The only thing I did was to cover some of the blades of grass that were not matching color of the grass in the fields.
As for the shadows there is sun poking through the clouds. Whether i was successful or not to trying to get the right shadow KI am up in the air about that.
Don't ever hesitate posting your thoughts on any thing I post.
