Ricardo00, the Earth has been warming up consistantly over the last 10,000 years; from the end of the last Ice Age to today. The Earth has gone through cycles of warming and cooling since its creation. And that was way long before there were any humans here. I suspect it will continue to occur after humans no longer exist on this planet, regardless of what we think we can do to prevent it or turn it back or stagnate our climate.

Interesting choice of a starting point, the Ice Ages! During most of the earth's history humans didn't exist. So the cycles of warming and cooling since its creation are not relevant to human life. And it is only now that there are almost 8 billion people, so we need to produce more food and need more land for people to live on. I guess some might argue it will be fine if a few billion die (those in flood and fire zones). I know there will be no way to convince you, but another way to look at the temps:
"Since 1970 the global average temperature has been rising at a rate of 1.7°C per century, compared to a long-term decline over the past 7,000 years at a baseline rate of 0.01°C per century (NOAA, 2016; Marcott et al., 2013)."
If you have no kids or grandkids, it won't impact you. However, future generations will not look kindly on our generation for not even trying to mitigate the coming impacts of global warming.
Of course the conversation would evolve from hydrogen propulsion to global warming.
Guess it's all swamp gas ....
