Colleagues,

I have been tasked with disposing of a Nikon system that belonged to my stepson’s deceased father. I don’t think he has the desire to shoot film, so the current plan is to sell the 2 cameras, 7 lenses and flash and use the proceeds to finance a Nikon Digital body and lens(es). Of course, we can send it all to MPB or KEH, but if there’s a Nikon collector interested, I’d prefer to sell it on UHH to a single buyer rather than part it out. Here’s what we have, and if there’s an interest, I can post images. I’m also interested to know what you Nikon gurus think is a fair price for all, and I would appreciate your opinions. This equipment has been in a sealed container in my safe for about 35 years.

Nikon F3. Excellent condition (maybe an 8+ to 9) - no dings, brassing or scratches that I see. Shutter works fine.
Nikon Photomic F (maybe an 8) - no brassing or scratches but a small ding in the bottom. Shutter works fine.
80-200 AIS zoom with leather case. Lens in excellent condition (9j, but case poor. No fungus. Both caps & UV filter
35-105 AIS zoom with leather case. Lens in excellent condition (9), fair case. No fungus, front cap and UV filter
200mm f4 AI lens with good case and hood. Condition 9 (no fungus), no rear cap
24mm f2.8 AI lens with good case (no hood). Condition 9 (no fungus), both caps
105mm f2.5 AI lens with poor case and good hood. condition 7-8 some internal dust and internal stain on barrel (lenses clean). No front cap
50mm f1.4 AI lens (no hood or case). Condition 7-8 (no fungus, dent in front filter threads). No front or rear cap.
TC 200 teleconverter with very good case. Condition 9 (no fungus). Both caps.
SB 16 flash with case as new - condition 9

Please give me your thoughts.

I'd be interested in more info and a photo on the Photomic - I gave one back to the friend I bought it from after his return from Viet Nam. Gap in my small collection.

Dates are recalibrated for freezer film. Almost always works very well.

Is the 200 f/4 an AI lens? The one in the picture isn't.

I realize this would be a sizable estate sale. I am also aware there is a sizable amount of money. I would like to make an offer. Please do not be offended.
I would like to know if you wish to donate the entire package or a portion thereof. My son, Brian passed away five years ago. Before he passed I was teaching him photography. I have established a Foundation in his honor. (www.BGMFoundation.org). I have several cameras and equipment to donate to his old high school to establish a Photography Club. We will acknowledge the donor with a plaque on the equipment.
If I offended you, please accept my apology. I can be private messaged if you wish to know more or have questions

The 200mm f/4 is a non-AI just fyi.

I haven't been paying attention to film camera prices but I think most of the lenses you show are sub-$100 each, some of them as low as $25. I'll defer to anyone who knows better of course but I'd guess most of what you show here is pretty common and the entire lot won't bring more than $500 total.
