Sad to say, the following tidbit is 100% true. Your 10Q brought it to mind. Many moons ago, teaching Algebra I, a particular multistep problem reduced down to 4Q = 12 and as soon as the step on the board reached this line, the entire class began the banter. 4Q? NO! 4Q! oh yeah? 4Q too.
